I Guess This Is It

I'M GOING TO FAIL I'M GOING TO FAIL. ECONOMICS EXAM IN 36 HOURS AND I HAVE NOT STARTED STUDYING. THERE IS NOT ENOUGH TIME. I. AM. GOING. TO. FAIL. IT'S INEVITABLE. JESUS. FUCKING. CHRIST. I THINK I MISSED THE DEADLINE TO WITHDRAW. THIS IS GOING TO HAUNT MY ACADEMIC RECORD FOR ALL ETERNITY. FUCK. FUCK. WHAT DO I DO.

Starve to death. What else, stupid. Go insane. Overdose. I don't know. You worthless piece of shit.

Okay, Miss. Calm down. You have 3 other subjects to study for. Don't fail them, too. Please...
I need to breath. I need to focus on my other 3 subjects. The reality is that I am going to fail economics. All these nights spent stressing...it was all for nothing. This is all very painful. But all will be well soon, when my skin is papery thin and pale and I float and fat is nonexistent and...I'm 93 lb.

  1. I failed physiology, but that same quarter I focused on my other classes and did great in them. Failing phys did haunt me, but I retook the class 2 years later from a better professor who taught it more in my learning style. I did so much better and the failing grade was replaced.

Don't stress too much about the class cause there isn't much else you can do. Take a deep breath and focus on your other classes.

    Good luck!

  2. Breathe, Breathe, Breathe.

Just study as much as you can and do as well as you can on the exam. If you stress out, your performance will go down. If you do fail, it's okay. It's not the end. It's not a blot. It's just an opportunity to try and succeed again.

No matter what, you are still awesome. Remember that.

  3. Take it easy, dear. It's just economics, what do you need it for anyway? I finished high school with low grades on math and economics, but still I passed the exams. Just make sure you know the basic things of economics, and study hard for the other classes. It's gonna be allright! ;)

  4. I know tons of people who failed classes (I'm one of them) espeically in their first years. It's easy enough to retake a class, and if you do well in other classes you really can bring up your GPA. I failed about 10 classes in total over 4 years, took time off, now I've never gotten less than a B. Focus on the classes you can pass, and figure out if you need to take less classes per term to feel more secure about passing.

Good luck. And try not to beat yourself up too much.

  6. your words on my last post meant so much to me. i love you.

this will pass my love, because it seems so terrible, i know, but once you're out of college you won't even remember the time you (didn't) fail a class.

in my first year of uni i failed one module and got kicked off another.

    I still got a great degree :)

try your best, no one can ask more of you than that. xxx

  7. If you haven't already, you should go in and see your professor outside of class! Tell him how anxious you are and how you're afraid of failing. Some professors are actually on your side and want you to do well and they might help you out. I did that once when I was struggling on a section in Spanish and he quizzed me out loud... turns out they were questions that were on the actual exam!

Good luck on your test.... think positively. xxo

  8. It's okay you can always retake the class later on maybe during the summer. You could also try and defer the exam and take it later. Make up a lie about why you can't take the exam. I overheard a girl get her exam defered because it was her "sisters wedding."

  9. Hey, it's going to be all right- you can study some in the time you have left and the only thing left to do is give it your best shot. I don't know what you're school is like, but maybe you can re-take econ at a later semester? Then the grade you get by re-taking it will replace the grade you're going to get now. Plus, by taking it a second time you've already had the notes and such so it might comes much easier!
