Really Quick Update on 246

I'm still doing 246, but I messed up today. Which isn't so bad since I've been okay for 5 days. But there still is a bad part: I overdosed on Nutella. I've been crash dieting for over 2 years, and I know exactly what will make me gain weight over night and what won't. Nutella will make me gain weight exponentially in a matter of hours. So, uh, bye-bye progress. But, hey!, bright side: I pre-planned to go to the gym everyday for the next 5 days, so that exercise, along with regular 246 diet, will bring me back to speed. I don't have much time to blog/comment this week, it's a busy one. Well, this whole month is, since it's the last month of school. Tomorrow is a 200 day. I have made a plan: safe foods, meal times, how to deal with hunger, what's important in [my] life, why I can't mess up, etc. I carry it everywhere. It helps. The right mindset is a crucial thing to have. Without it, you'll never get anywhere. All this is a question of mind over [food doesn't] matter.

  1. Darling, I'm always reading, I have so much on forgive me if I miss a post or two! Don't let set backs get you down, the attitude you have here is great! Nutella won't make you fat after one little slip up, like you say, the gym will sort that out!

I love you, keep going! Just ask yourself if I would be proud of you :) xxxxx

  2. I recently discovered Nutella. I thought a peanut butter addiction was bad, but it is of no comparison. It's amazing & I will never buy it again! Good plan , you've been doing so well, one slip up won't matter.

  3. Last time I let Nutella past my lips.... I ended up eating the entire jar. That stuff is evil. Delicious evil.

Good luck with exercise and the last week of school and everything! I hope that you can get some stress-free rest in between.

  4. MIND OVER MATTER. You have the willpower inside you to never let yourself touch nutella again. Of course, your mind will try and trick you- "just a little taste, I need to have SOMETHING,"- no. Because nutella is basically the most delicious thing on the planet besides bread and butter. Or cheese. And once ya pop, you can't stop. It's proven. I did a study on it once. Not really... but it's crack in a jar. Skinny girls don't eat nutella.

2-4-6... You've got this! Much, much love girlie :) And remember, I'm always here for support via email!

  5. I gagged on my lollipop when I read that bit about the nutella. I've been battling it for the last two days. Yesterday I lost, and had about four huge spoonfuls that I slurped down. Tonight, I actually threw the nutella on a high-up shelf that I can't reach to try and keep myself from it and popped a lollipop in my mouth to try and beat the sweet-tooth craving. Good luck!

  7. It takes a huge amount of willpower to defeat Nutella. Don't let this bring you down and keep up the good work you've been doing.

  9. I'm too poor to really buy food at the moment which is a great thing. Though I live at home so there's still food at home, my dad refuses to buy nutella. I used to steal the jar and then sneak off into my room to eat it then blame my brother for eating it. EMBARRASING!!!

  10. Ah, Nutella....

Either way, I'm sure you'll have a good day tomorrow. Five good days is great! I don't think I've had five good days in a row in a while.

Hey, I'll do that now. :)

  12. Oh my, nutella! I've had one spoonful of that in my life and it was heaven in a jar. I dont let myself buy that or peanut butter because I go nuts and eat it all. I like the point you made about getting our minds in the right placed & I would have to agree. If our mind isn't completely set on our goal, we'll give in to the first thing to come against us. But when you mind is made up, nothing can stop you!

  13. OMG Nutella! My husband hides it from me, and I still dig for it and find it all over the house...the sad thing is that he is 6'8 and can reach EVERYWHERE and I am 5'2 and I find myself stacking chairs on top of counters and climbing on top of things and almost killing myself just to find it.....
